                             Agenda

7:00 Sign-in, networking

7:15 Introductory remarks

7:20 Slamming Spam

by Robert Haskins, author of Slamming Spam.

This talk focuses on what mail system administrators need
to do in the fight against spam. All widely available open
source anti-spam methods will be covered in some detail.
A particular focus will be placed on Bayesian solutions
and SpamAssassin since they are the most accurate and most
widely used anti-spam solutions, respectively. AMaViS and
MailScanner are integral to many open source spam fighting
solutions and will be discussed briefly.

Mr. Haskins will bring copies of his book to be raffled
       off to the membership.

8:50 Roundtable Exchange - where the attendees can make
announcements or ask a linux question.

Since we have a prominent speaker, please RSVP by January 5th so
we can ensure the room will be large enough for those who plan to
attend.

Please see the website for links to directions.

If any area companies are interested in sponsoring refreshments, please
let me know.
