7:20 JUnit - A Unit Testing Framework for Java
         presented by Roger Trussell

JUnit is a class library that facilitates unit testing for
Java classes. Unit testing helps programmers to test
individual classes and methods. Many programmers use unit
testing as part of agile software techniques and extreme
programming. As programmers write unit tests for their code,
they may discover the need for software design changes as
well as problems with individual methods and classes. Roger
will present JUnit as it applies to class libraries and
Swing/AWT applications using both NetBeans and Eclipse. He
will present ways to store test parameters in XML. As time
permits, Roger will cover unit testing for simple J2EE
       applications.

Roger Trussell is a programmer with over five years of
experience in a variety of roles for health care, software,
research, and manufacturing environments. He has worked at
many companies throughout the Upper Valley, including DHMC,
ISEE Systems, and Timken Aerospace. Roger holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute. One of Roger's main interests is
bridging the gap between programmers and end-users.

8:50 Roundtable Exchange - where the attendees can make
announcements or ask a linux question of the group.
