                           Agenda

7:00 Sign-in, networking

7:15 Introductory remarks

7:20 Public Keys and Webs of Trust in 15 Minutes or Less
        presented by Bill McGonigle

What is encryption, how does public key cryptography
work, and what is a Web of Trust? What are PGP and x.509?
What is CACert, and how can I get free 'SSL' certificates?
Just enough of a glancing blow at these topics will be
presented for a the rest of the evening to make some sense.

7:35 Q&A

7:45 Keysigning Party

Attendees will have a chance to get their ID's verified by
CACert trusted assurers, and then practice signing each
others' certificates to establish a network of trust for
the NH/VT region. This is largely a peer-to-peer activity
but will be loosely coordinated to keep things moving
      along.

Pre-register for an account at CACert to save time:
        https://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=1
You can save yourself time by printing out pre-filled
      forms right from the website.

Please bring a laptop if you can and a government-issued
photo ID for verification - more than one kind of ID is
      preferred.
