I just did a quick google search and saw where someone listed the contents
of /proc/misc on his Tecra laptop. He saw:
/proc/devices
Character devices:
1 mem
2 pty
3 ttyp
4 ttyp
5 cua
7 vcs
10 misc
14 sound
127 pcmcia
Block devices:
2 fd
3 ide0
/proc/misc
1 ps2aux
134 apm
So I would say it's yet another listing of miscellaneous devices on a system
as seen by Linux.
