  Hi,
I followed these directions concerning the new plugin to XMMS.

Still doesn't work. It seemed like CD-player kept invoking the old
plugin anyway.
How can I make sure my new "AudioCD Reader" is the one that is running?

  It looks good from here...

Open XMMS. (If already open, close and reopen it.) Right-click
anywhere,
click Options, then Preferences. Under "I/O Plugins", find "AudioCD
Reader", make sure it is enabled. Find "CD Audio Player", and set it to
disabled.
