It's better than it used to be, but still not overly great.  We saw 
lots of unexplain[able,ed] errors at MCL on our NFS server. 

You can definitely use it, and it will definitely work, but you may 
see slowness and other errors under real heavy use.

Trying to do a kernel build over NFS with a Linux NFS server is a 
great way to see problems and slowness :)
