That's not my style. I don't see that as any different from the following:

    ...the real trick is to *not* let your user base
    know how to change the paper in the laserprinter.
    That way you can appear even more magical and
    mystical to them when you "fix" the printer
    within minutes of the request.

I generally find the biggest problem I have when I'm working is when I'm 
trying to focus on a difficult problem, and I get interrupted by a stream 
of trivial "emergencies" as people ask me to refill the laserprinter paper 
or recover a file they just deleted. 

Of course the printer wasn't part of my jurisdiction, and I'd refer them 
to the office manager who actually was responsible for printers, fax 
machines,
and office supplies. But anyone can refill the paper tray, and woth the
NetApp .snapshot directory, anyone can recover something they accidentally
deleted.

Before I installed the NetApp, I'd typicaly have a dozen file recovery 
requests per week. After I showed the users the .snapshot feature, that
dropped to around 3 or 4 requests per month. It probably helped that the
users I supported were all developers and engineers.
