Another book I still find incredibly useful is the "original" Samba
book:
Samba, Integrating UNIX and Windows, by John D Blair,
ISBN 1-57831-006-7, published in 1998 by Specialized Systems Consultants.
Language: English.
John Blair is also a member of the Samba dev team. Though this book
is incredibly dated at this point, and deals with Samba 1.x, the
really nice thing about it is that John spent a lot of time in the
beginning chapters explaining how MS networking actually works. The
amount of background info contained in this book is extraordinary,
and unbelievably enlightening if you've been fortunate enough to
spend your entire life in the UNIX world!
Though I wouldn't now recommend this book strictly for learning
Samba, it is a great book to really understand how MS networking is
supposed to work. I'd bet even long time MCSEs could learn a thing
or two from this book :)

It may look like I'm just sitting here doing nothing,
but I'm really actively waiting for all my problems to go away.
If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right!
