I just downloaded the vmmount stuff & it didn't work on my .vmdk files. 
 Were you able to use it on a .vmdk file or is it a .dsk file?  Maybe I 
need to rebuild.  My .vmdk is the result of upgrades from VMware 2.x.  
I'm running 3.2 too.
