Hi Gan,
I'm not sure you have to do anything. 
(Maybe I don't understand the full issue :-) )

I'm running RH 7.2.  All I had to do to upgrade to 100 Base T was change the
ethernet switch I was using.  My card was already 10/100 so when I plugged it
into the my new switch it changed over itself.
