Sniffer detectors for Linux?

Does anyone know of any free software for linux that can detect whether
network cards on a LAN are in promisc mode? I'm looking for something
similar to AntiSniff from l0pht, which apparently only works under
solaris and OpenBSD. 

Any info would be appreciated.
