Someone mentioned in passing that 8.0 would be out very soon, so I took
a look at ftp.redhat.com and saw that the 8.0 directory exists, chmod'ed
as 700. In the past, the release came very soon after the directory
appeared, presumably after the official mirrors had been given enough time
to mirror the new release.
So I expect to see the release very soon, long before the BLU Installfest
which is scheduled for October 26.

Some people say, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
I often respond, "When elephants fight, it's the grass
that gets trampled."
