Well like you said, it really depends on what they are doing. Of course what
are people usually doing with their computers? Now adays it's mostly email,
web, and word processing plus other things.. The other things are usually
quicken and/or games. GNUCash, while very good, is no quicken. And games you
can't do much about, but most of that other stuff can be done out of the box
of any modern linux dist. Hell, if my dad didn't play Civ3 all the time I
could probably put on Linux and they wouldn't notice any usability change at
all.
