  Yah.  There was a problem with the license that basically prevented
including it in your average Linux distro.  I don't remember the details,
and a quick Google search can't find it, tho.  :(

  I remember there being some controversy because Debian was including it 
when, technically speaking, they were violating the license.  *cough*

  I'm not sure, but I think they eventually got the author to change the 
license, or something.

  Sorry for the fuzzy details.  I don't have time to track it down right
now.
