  Dell's PowerVault SCSI disk arrays are basically JBOD boxes (Dell does the
RAID using controllers in the host).  Not that Dell will be the cheapest
around, but they are cheap for a major brand, and at least you know they'll
be in business next year.

  In the distant past, I (or rather, a "we" that no longer exists) did
business with Corporate Systems Center (http://www.corpsys.com), with good
results.  It was far enough back in time that any experience I had then is
no longer valid, but you might check 'em out.

  If you're not locked into a specific solution already, you might describe
your application.  For example, if you're looking for bulk storage on the
cheap, ATA arrays can be quite nice.  But they don't work for everything or
everybody.
