I could not remember the exact incantation (something like
cdrecord fs=12m speed=4 /tmp/redhat1.iso) to burn an ISO to CD-R but I
found this neat tutorial on using X-CD-Roast to do just that.

It all boils down to telling X-CD-Roast where your iso(s) are located.
