Recommendations for Commercial Backup packages?

You might try a package called Backup Professional from 
http://www.unitrends.com/   I use this at home... and while I've never 
needed to do (what they call) bare metal restore... it can do that.  I 
backup my (windows) laptop.. two windows workstations and my linux 
server onto a DDS4.  The server software runs on the linux box.

As for my bias... I know the owner/lead developer of this company and 
can say that they make a good product... last I checked there were some 
issues with rh9 but that was several months ago. ymmv
