The only problem with this is the fact that I need it to be under
warranty, or it kind of defeats the purpose of returning it for a new
one, which is the reason I want to destroy the data. Its a vicious
cycle. I'm not sure what the manufacturer will do with it when it
receives it, either toss it or try to refurbish it. Otherwise I could
come up with many creative ways to destroy the data, probably including
fire, powertools, or both :)
