I was warned by a consultant yesterday who was on a panel at the Software Livre!
conference in Porto Alegra, Brazil (attendance 4000), where the government
of Brazil endorsed Open Source.  He said that the panel discussion, that
included a Microsoft representative, got very heated, and that the analyst
felt that Microsoft was NOT going to take events like these lying down.

You can bet that they will take off the gloves in full force soon.
