In a similar vein is "In the beginning...was the command line" by Neal
Stephenson (of Snow Crash / Cryptonomicon / Zodiac fame). Short (150
pages) and a very quick read. I gave it to my dad so he could understand
why I use Linux.
Plus it's only $10.
