I have red-carpet installed on my RH8 system. I find security patches
come out on up2date a few days quicker then red-carpet. red-carpet is
cool for installing/removing packages even if you don't have the CDs
handy. And have a fast internet connection.

Has anyone setup a local internal up2date server?

If you like the apt tools, how about something like apt4rpm?
