Microsoft offers big discount in vain

Steve Balmer offered a DEEP discount to one of Germany's largest city's only to 
have the offer sent back as the city made a decision to move 14,000 of its 
workstations to Linux and an OSS Office suite.  
I love it when people stick to their guns and get rid of the trash.
