Personally, I perfer using bash's shell-variable modifiers instead
of external commands like "basename".
dst=${src%.ogg}.wav
would do the trick, and as an added bonus, you wouldn't have to worry
about quoting it to preserve spaces in the filename; the magic is
taken care of automatically.
