Personal database software for *nix?

I don't know that much about it, but The Kompany just released "Rekall"
under the GPL.  From their page:

Rekall is our multi-platform, multi-database, MS Access like product. We
have now decided to release it as dual licensed with a GPL version
available as of today. You can read all the details about it here.
