I started using an IBM blade system a few months ago...  the only 
drawback is that they have 2.5" ata hard drives by default.... you can 
add two fiber switches for 2Gb san connectivity... but they are pricey.  
Overall I'm happy with them...  right now we have 4 blades.. two for our 
mail relays and two for citrix. The box can hold 14 blades in 7U of space.
