Jerry: thanks for the info; I always appreciate the help.

But won't this "mess things up" when you upgrade to the next release of
the distribution or next release of Mailman? (I really like doing
something other than sysadmin-ing on the nights and weekends.)

To the group at large: Does anyone have any objections to upgrading to
the next release? (I probably should have asked this earlier, but I'm
asking it now.)
