Hi,
Seven or eight of us met at Martha's tonight for a meeting of GNHLUG.
After ordering some beers, lots of water and some coffee we started discussing
a wide variety of topics.
Someone (I think it was Brad) brought in his Acer Ferrari 3200 and asked about
how to get Linux running on it. I suggested he go to the web and Google for
"linux and "Ferrari 3200" I did just now and came up with:
http://www.linux-on-laptops.com/hosted/ferrari3200.html
Secondly someone mentioned that Linuxworld will be in Boston this winter, and
maybe we should do something. I suggested we do something with Asterisk
and perhaps having local telephony available through 802.11 based PDAs, or even
just staff a booth to tell people about the user group (perhaps sharing a
booth with BLU and the Worchester LUG). I volunteered to look into the booth
with IDG.
Ben was not there, so we could not heckle him.
