That's a pretty good idea, in theory. You could sell a boxed-set of of
The Gimp with "your familiar interface" for a hundred bucks, I bet.
Photoshop is up to a grand IIRC.
Now I say, "in theory", because Adobe has patented so many elements of
the Photoshop interface you'll land straight in court if you dare try.
Mozilla doesn't have draggable tabs between windows because, you
guessed it, draggable tabs are patented by Adobe.
I still don't get why you can patent an idea if it's on a computer but
not if it's in the real world.
