Linux Webpage tools

I do design work on both Linux and Microsoft. I personally find it a
bit easier to do it on Windows, but I do not use Dreamweaver at all. I
generally create graphics-light, CSS-styled websites.
The tools that I can't live without are:
* a color grabber that can grab a color from the screen, and/or let me
choose one in hex or rgb
KColorChooser v. ColorPad (KColorChooser wins)
* a color tool that allows me to convert easily between RGB, Hex, and HSV
KColorChooser v. ColorPicker, a javascripted webpage. (KColorChooser
wins, although I love ColorPicker's features and can use it with any
JavaScripted web browser.)
* a pixel-based graphics program
GIMP v. PhotoShop (PhotoShop wins because it allows more control over text)
* a slicing, animation, rollover tool
ImageReady v. ?? (ImageReady wins because I haven't found this
functionality in Linux)
* a screen ruler
K-Ruler v. Microfox sruler (sruler is better)
* a wireframe viewer
This is a bookmarklet that I use on both platforms to see the layout, so
I can tune my CSS. If the link below does not work, visit
http://freephile.com/js/bookmarklets.html, and bookmark the link that
says "Show document wireframe", then visit some other website, and click
the bookmark. (This works best from the personal toolbar in your browser).
wireframe <javascript:(function(){var newSS;
newSS=document.createElement('link'); newSS.rel='stylesheet';
newSS.type='text/css'; newSS.href =
'http://www.cs.hmc.edu/~jruderma/block-structure.css';
document.documentElement.childNodes[0].appendChild(newSS); })();>

So, in summary, I can do almost everything I want on Linux, but I still
use Windows, especially when it comes to PhotoShop and ImageReady. I
have found some really cool things that the GIMP can do (like using
script-fu to create gel-buttons), and I use it as much as possible, but
it doesn't do everything that PhotoShop and ImageReady can do.
