I personally have not had the best of luck having ISP's filter for spam.
I've had mail get /dev/nulled because its had a subject line of "hey" or
because the body had too many exclamation points in it (note: those are
just the ones I figured out when missing. Who knows what else I lost).
At least if you do it yourself you know its done right. :)
BTW, I "third" Spamassassin. *awesome* tool. Almost better than sex. ;-)
