SLUG meeting tonight 11/08 Topic: Making Icons with The Gimp

This months meeting will be Monday 11/08/2004 at 7pm in Morse Hall room
301.

This month we'll be sharing tips on using The Gimp to create Icons.  A
look at some resources for icons and ideas.  As well as a few tips and
some examples will be demonstrated.  Icons can be used on Web pages
and Desktops as well as in GUI programs of all kinds.  If you have the
time and enough ideas you can even create your own desktop theme, or
complete one that is "really close".

If you have some experience be prepared to share it!
