What you're missing is that Microsoft has the middle-management layer 
of American business nailed.  What do middle managers like to do?  Have 
meetings, talk on the phone and give presentations.  Sound familiar?

At this point if anybody's going to save the day with a good 
interoperable calendar solution (other than the morass that is 
iCal/vCal) there's going to need to be an Outlook plug-in for it, 
before it can get in the door.  Reportedly that's feasible, which is 
the good news.

If you're still looking for a trollish name, I'll add sdinet to the 
list of nominees.  You'd have to be a fan of The Cuckoo's Egg for that 
to make any sense.
