I've researched this but haven't bought a printer yet. I don't like the
labels because there have been numerous articles suggesting that the
glue from the labels can decrease the life of the media, particularly
CD's due to their writable layer being fairly close to the surface where
a label sticks. I mostly use a sharpee and a labeled case at this
point. I've seriously considered a suitable, general purpose, inkjet
printer. From what I can tell the only mass market machine for this
purpose is the Epsom Photo Printer series, the cheapest of which is the
R200 at CC for $99.99. It has a couple of big brothers with more
features and a higher price tag. From what I could find, other than
that there are only more expensive, special purpose, CD/DVD only printers.
