  It's got issues, for sure.  Not sure which ones you're talking about.

  Listing one public nameserver and one private in the same file is a
sure sign of confusion.  Ten-to-one their local IT admin set up their
Windows Active Directory domain name to be the same as their public
domain name -- usually a really bad idea, for reasons like this.  Now
s/he's trying to reconcile having a local network and a public network
with two different namespaces.

  And the "mail" RR is a CNAME for itself.  That's a loop.... a
loop... a loop... a loop...

  Other than that, it looks okay.  I think.
