Annoying question: Installing W2K or WXP on a Linux-only box

It's been a while since I've done this, but I would take out your Linux drive
and install your new drive. Now Windows should install.
I would then put your Linux drive in as the 2nd drive and put GRUB on the new
drive. Have GRUB do the drive switching magic and Linux should boot and run
without any changes.
My experience doing this was about three years ago. I was never able to get
Win2K to boot off the second drive, it had to be on the first drive.
Additionally, reinstalling Windows wouldn't leave GRUB alone and installed the
Windows bootloader. So now I just boot to Linux from floppy or CD.
