Voip teleophony - Anyone know Packet-8 or others?

I've been using Vonage since March over Comcast and had no
Comcast-related problems.  For the first month things were great, then
for abount 2 or 3 months things were really crappy and I was about to
drop them completely and go back to Verizon.  Then things suddenly got
better with no explanation.

Vonage's tech support is also rather pathetic.  But, since at least
September, I've had absolutely no problems with them, and it's saving
me close to $50/month as compared to Verizon and I get a lot more
features!

I know nothing about packet8 though.
