It must be Microsoft's way of rewarding their most loyal
customers, by allowing them to pay for the privilege of
receiving early and thus more likely buggy software versions
before the rest of the world gets later less buggy versions
for free.
It makes perfect sense as being consistent with
Microsoft customer experience and expectations, right?
