   You didn't say whether it's for a server or a workstation.

   If a workstation, try firestarter.

   If a server, give gShield a try <http://muse.linuxmafia.org/gshield/>.

   While it's not packaged for Debian, the installation is a snap (extract the 
tarball, edit the well-documented config file, move the gShield subdir 
to /etc/firewall, create a symbolic link from /etc/init.d/YourName 
to /etc/firewall/gShield.rc, then run "update-rc.d /etc/init.d/YourName 
defaults".  You'll find gShield covers about most anything you'd want for a 
home or small office server.
