I think I presented that the wrong way. I was trying to illustrate that 
early evening meetings-before-the-meetings were feasible. What I'd like 
to focus on now would be a Python SIG, following Bill Sconce's lead. I 
agree that there might also be a need for a LAMP/FOSS Developers group, 
but I'm afraid we might split up in too many directions at once if we 
generalize too much - after all, we talked about LAMP for 13 nights at 
NHTI, and barely scratched the surface. Besides for a Newbies Track 
and/or book study group, I envision more advanced developer topics 
which likely cross language barriers, but could be Python-oriented to 
suit the SIG: Subversion setup for Python, UML diagramming for Python, 
Python Developer Community Resources, Python Book Reviews, Configuring 
Apache for Python, Data Access from Python, MySQL/PostGreSQL 
programming for Python, etc., where a decent Perl Monger or Ruby Rube 
could attend and mentally map one to the other. (Programmer's Secret 
#27: they're all the same,, well, except LISP) Occasionally, 
language-neutral discussions like software development lifecycle 
management and consulting topics would be welcomed, and may allow some 
cross-meeting-sharing with the regional LUGs and outside organizations 
like SwaNH Consultants and others...
