I understand "talking with some vendors and attending some talks". This is
one reason why I want two people instead of one. BUT the day that you
decide to "sign up" and be there, please limit it to one talk that you
will see that day, and be away from the booth. It will not be fair to the other
person at the booth if you are gone for hours at a time.
And I don't mind if you have a small flier talking about your upcoming book
that you can have at the stand. Other people staffing the booth are welcome to
bring your business cards, etc. with the understanding that for the most part
you will be representing GNHLUG, and not yourself. On the other hand, if you
find someone looking for consulting services, and you are a consultant, I
believe in the biblical admonition of not "muzzling the ox that treadeth out the
grain."
