Of course, Linux has plenty of warts.  Another trillion dollars and a 
decade should smooth most of them.  I'd like to see Apple's launchd 
adoped, for instance and the system-level event queue is just getting 
goign.

By time that's done we'll realize how infantile OS design was in the 
2000's.

And just so noone accuses me of being a wet blanket on a flamewar: 
emacs, perl, postfix, postgresql, fedora and Babylon 5.
