Speaking of the Amiga, I bought an Atari ST. It was interesting that
Atari actually funded the Amiga which was supposed to become an Atari.
Jack Tramiel (Commodore's founder) bought Atari from WB, and Commodore
bought the company that was developing the Amiga. Atari then developed
the Atari ST in 6 months. Tramiel later sued WB for $50,000,000 because
he was supposed to get the Amiga. One of the things I liked to do was
to go to a BCS show, and demonstrate to the Mac people that I could run
Mac programs 10% faster that the Mac. All the Atari needed to emulate
the Mac was the Apple ROMs.
