Just to be clear, I belive that you meant "-data" there.

Just to be clear, using "cdrecord -dev=2,0.0" generates a CD that
"works" for me (with all of the disclaimers mentioned elsewhere in
this thread).  "cdrecord -dev=3,0,0" immediately produces this error
message:

Aside from Ben's suggestion to try "-dao", I don't know what else to
try.  But I appreciate the suggestions.
