Desire for a new kind of list?

I like doing this stuff when I have time, and I agree that a second list,
in this case, would be worthwhile, although projects done with Free and Open
Source might get a "progress announcement" every once in a while to alert people
in this list that "something cool" is happening.

So why not announce the meeting either here or on the announcement list,
and you can have the detailed discussions some other place?
