shared ics files

I've been fighting with this for the past few weeks and it's just not
working right.

I'm trying to setup shared calendars with webdav and apache.

I followed the various how-tos, but it's still not working.

Has anybody set this up that could help me out?

Basically it's serving the directory like a normal page, and when I try
to post the ics file it gives me an error displaying the source for the
index page. There is nothing in the logs.
