An ISP change is almost transparent - and you're going to have her 
switch to Linux?  Good luck with that.

If cost isn't her primary driver maybe she can get a $30 DSL line - 
then linux is supereasy - AOL is, what $23 a month now?

You could remaster Knoppix with her ISP preconfigured if you were 
feeling super swell.
