I like it alot as well, however, most non-geeks, in my experience, won't 
have a clue what it means.
And it'll sound somewhat threatening, and geeky.

Outside of our industry, coding and coder doesn't equate with programmer.
For that matter, most folk have only a vague idea of what a programmer does.

(I once had a rather disjoint conversation with someone in the arts, 
wherein we both eventually realized that "programmer" meant extremely 
different things to each of us. It was humorous in the end.)
