"Linux does Windows: The Best of Both Worlds!"
Warren Luebkeman, President Resara Networks
Keene, NH
http://www.resara.com
Running Linux, open source software solutions and Windows within a
business infrastructure offers the best of all worlds. This month at
UVCIA, Warren Luebkeman will demonstrate new Plug-and-Play, thin
client Linux deployment technology, which makes installation and
administration of Linux PCs extremely easy.

The presentation will touch on three major emerging technologies:
Linux, thin clients, and open source alternatives to Office and
Exchange. Windows integration with Linux will be the core focus with
discussion around running Windows based applications along side of
Linux applications, integration with Active Directory and LDAP, and
so much more. Bring your business questions and be ready!

8:35
"Non-compete and Non-disclosure Agreements"
Sean Gorman, Attorney
Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green, Lebanon, NH
http://www.sheehan.com

How (and How Well) Do They Work? Businesses are narrowly limited in
their ability to obtain and enforce noncompetition agreements, but it
can be done. Nondisclosure agreements obligate signers to keep a
company's secrets. Both are important for employers, employees, and
consultants. Both can be tricky and difficult to enforce.

Attorney Sean Gorman will discuss the law and best practices in
negotiating, drafting, and enforcing such agreements, including the
impact of a May 2005 decision of the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

9:00
The Magic Minute (New York version) where attendees get to introduce
themselves and state what products, services, or skills they offer
or, are seeking.
