That's great! Increased interest in Linux is always a good thing.

Just in case you're not already aware of it, there is a local LUG that meets
in Nashua monthly. This is not to say you shouldn't be trying to form your own
group; I just wanted to make sure you were aware of it. Info here:

As it happens, several of us in GNHLUG are currently pursuing the
possibility of incorporating GNHLUG as a non-profit organization. To do that,
you apparently need budgets and bylaws and officers and all that stuff. You
may want to subscribe to the gnhlug-org at gnhlug.org list, which is where a lot
of LUG administration gets beaten out. You might find our experiences with
that useful in your own endeavors.

For more info on the gnhlug-org list, see:

You're welcome to tap into GNHLUG's resources here, such as they are. Our
website (http://ww.gnhlug.org) uses a concept known as "wiki" which enables
anyone to add or edit pages. Feel free to jump in. For more on how wiki
works for us, see:

On the topic of creating another mailing list, I suggest you raise the
possibility on the -org list.

   Good luck!
