IT Systems Engineer

Looking for an Engineering or IT professional with a strong customer focus
to interact with our Engineering community.   Ten years experience is
desirable.

 

The Engineering organization has requested that Linux become an option for a
desktop operating system.  The group will develop, test and implement Linux
as a standard desktop with support for approximately 10 engineering
applications

 

Expertise in the areas of product installation and support on Windows and /
or Linux, Windows registry, user profiles and operating system fundamentals
are key.  Application expertise in one or more of the following products a
plus. ClearCase; ClearQuest; Matlab; DOORS; Rational Rose; Ssytem Architect;
Eclipse; QA C++; gcc; Purify; Tornado; and utilities such as FlexLm,
WinInstall , JDK/JVM &  SQL Server.
